Thanks to Babs (Barbq) for sharing on FB

Using cruise control on wet roads or during heavy rain can cause you to lose control of your vehicle. :Eeek:

I have checked this accuracy with Snopes so please be aware :thumb:

Steve, we have always known of this problem as it happen to us in France many years ago in the pouring rain I was travelling along a straight as die road more mile after mile with the cruise set on 50mph, entering a slow left hand bend the car just kept going straight ahead and fortunately for us it was another road heading for a village.

If it been a ditch, river, wall or any solid object we would have had a collision as I did not have enough time to react before I realised it was not going in the same direction as the steering wheel was telling the car to go. affraid
