The weather

Post by debbie on Sun 12 Jan 2014 - 13:28

Dear Weather Controller,  I am writing to thank you for granting me a break in the storms so that I could replace one of my aging MPK roof-lights with a shiny new "Mini-Heki", and later the same day you chucked buckets of water from the sky all over, to test the integrity of the job! Now I must ask for another break, so that I can replace the other MPK, with another shiny new "Mini-Heki". Due to commitments, Tuesday or Thursday would be good for me, and if you grant me this favor, I promise I will never again use bad language when referring to your weather decisions. Yours sincerely, Debbie.

Debbie can you please extend your request for Friday and Saturday 17th/18th Jan. for the region of the Bay of Biscay as we will on the ferry crossing to Spain   and we would dearly love to have a real nice crossing in warm weather and maybe see some Dolphins along the way, I will also promise to not to use bad language for this period.

Bob, I thought I might be pushing it a bit asking for the second break, but for a third break, I think the weather controller will assign a black cloud with my name on it that follows me everywhere, so in this instance, if you can make it to the floor on bended knees, you can ask the weather controller yourself, and remember, its not getting down that's a problem, its getting back up, although I suspect that you know that already! Good luck. Debs
