Christmas Party at Lady Heyes 14th/16th Dec

Post by whistlinggypsy on Thu 22 Nov 2012 - 10:37

First topic message reminder :

There will be a Christmas meet at a venue tessajoe found for us, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] from the 14th /16th December this is an alternative event to the TnT event which is a solely Motorroamers event (and as far as I am aware is still going ahead, so if you had booked with them you will be entitled to go on that meet).

I require a quick response to the amount of members wishing to attend this venue so the booking arrangements can proceed as soon as possible to avoid further disappointment. We will need to know how many are going to see if we can negotiate a discount, but in the event the price will be £15 p.u.p.n. + £1 rally fee p.p. the meal will be as at cost.

There is loads to do at this venue, we will of course have EHU, hardstanding and all the usual refinements of a top quality campsite, please look at the link above for all the info on the site, please add you names below if you are interested.

Marshal for this meet is Whistlinggypsy

Just home now, great w/e, great company, average xmas meal just about passable.

Tried logging on sat afternoon & this morning using BTopenzone, was getting excellent signal strength on the campsite but couldn't get on the internet. Had no problems on friday.
Methinks Lady Heyes switched on some sort of blocking signal to try and make you pay for their WiFi.

regards
Allen

Just arrived home, managed to wash the m/h while waiting for the site owner to open the gate.

Thank you all for a great weekend and Xmas party we had a smashing time with good friends, pity the weather couldn't have been better, although it was beautiful this morning.

Thanks Peter for all your hard work as usual you did a sterling job, and to Ken for setting the meet up.

A special thanks too Polly for here rendition of Rudolph on Saturday night it was brilliant and nearly peed myself laughing, well done Polly.

A big thank you also too "Mr. Smooth" our own dear Frank for the karaoke, also the Beverley sisters, Polly, Adele and Gill for their effort at singing.

A special thanks to Rina and Baza for the excellent soup, and too Peter for the coffee and delicious mince pies and tarts.

Thank you all for your generous raffle gifts and tickets purchases which enabled us to make a good amount of cash for the club funds.

Barb and I wish you all and also all our members a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
