amps re solarpanel

Post by Monty the Motorhome on Thu 15 May 2014 - 21:09

Have a 60w folding solar panel - add up of 2x30w panel's. What amps should I be getting when I'm in direct sunlight. Currently 2amps.
Thanks

The panels will probably be rated at about 18 volts, which means you'll see 3 (& a bit) amps in strong summer sunlight.
