| Just a thought would it be an idea to let the members on facebook know about forthcoming meets in the future. | |

| I'll get the 2014 Meets on the site this weekend, planned on doing it this week but forgot my diary! We can have a look then at spaces available, don't want to many though and end up canceling 3 like this year though _________________ Have you visited our Amazon Associates Store yet?Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

Not visited all so no idea of size of fields may be to big We stayed at the Riverside Caravan Park at Bridgnorth CCC September rally. The marshall said it is booked most weekends by different DAs. Probably would have to have a corner of the field for Homers. I can recommend Riverside Caravan Park though and there is a club. Only have to pay a nightly entrance fee if entertainment is on. Don't listen to the marshalls telling you to walk by the river to go into Bridgnorth unless you want to walk about three miles when able to walk a shorter distance which includes some steps. Don't ask

Can recommend here as been a few times, great walks along the canal and good food in the pub. Can accommodate a couple of hard standings but not in the rally field, also there is a couple of EHU's for the use of charging batteries and sharing.

Allen Or even have mini meets in France etc... or enroute to spain?. Hi Mark it'll take us 5 or 6 days to get to Marjal, so wont be stopping more than 1 night anywhere in France. You've just gotta get near the med before you can take any layers off, or even put water in the system. Are you thinking of going again ? Allen

Not sure at the moment Allen, but generally anyone can meet at any time of the year if kept posted on the forum.

No, I could enter them that way, but if someone replies in a topic, that would then go to the top of the page. Yeah, they will be in order when they go into the scroller.

Might even get some of the southern softies to turn out and meet some of us Midlanders Sounds perfectly located, we would be up for this (work permitting.) Less of the southern softies May be more dificult to get the northeners there more like

| Its very close to us almost walkable. Been to several rallies there in the past. The group we went with used to hire the village hall just down the lane for evening activities as well but I don't knw if this is still possible.
It is a lovely spot but I don't think there is enough in the area for a trip down for all you northerner's.
We have quite a few places like this which all the groups use but really too far for a weekend rally.

| Hi Rob, the Woodvale Rally used to be held at Woodvale Airfield just behind the caravan park we used to live on Willowbank and was a fantastic day out, they stopped doing them there because some of the buildings had an asbestos problem "health and regulations don't you know" so they moved it to the park in Southport, if it is half as good there as it was it will make a great meet and Barbara's place at the Pleasure ground will be the perfect parking as it right across the road from the venue. Funny they have a picture of Pete and Ken in their brochure [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
