| Just had a couple of messages from friends in Spain and it was not good news, two friends at the Marjal Crevillent said it was very cold, windy and wet with the long range forecast showing no immediate improvement, and two friends at Benicassim also said it was cold and snowing and not pleasant there.
Make you feel a whole lot better we didn't go down early, and quite pleaded we will be going to Brittany with friends Rina n Baza instead in April.

| Thats not good news when you get off the ferry and find that, we use that route regularly when heading for Madrid as its all free motorway with good scenery as well in most parts, I bet the Burgos Madrid route is torture in that weather. | |

| Trust me when I say it's cold. We live inland Murcia region and past few days the wind just bites you. The worst weather in Spain for more than 3 years and more to come in the next 7 days. The day time temp is around 8C inland and night time down to -15C in some places, but average is around -2C. Along the coast line it's warmer, but only just. With walls as thin as a MH most houses are colder than it is outside when the sun is out. We have the gas fire on all day. Role on March.......... | |

| Can confirm all that about the cold in Spain...we're in Javea and it's only warmed upthese last two days, 17.5 deg today and sunny all day. We travelled through France and Spain over the last 3 weeks and it's been the coldest most windy we've encountered.
Hope it's getting better.

| Glad we are in the Algarve then, apart from a wet day on Tuesday it has been as good as any summer day back home in Todmorden.
We have had frost most mornings though but mostly clear blue skies during the day
