All this talk of horse meat in this, that and tuther is a load of rubbish really, if the horse has been bred for human consumption it is perfectly edible (ate enough in France the last 40yrs)

The trouble I think is that the bad boys have found a lucrative market for making big bucks (or €) and that has found it's way into the main food supply chain and that meat is not fit for human consumption.

Would you still eat horse meat if the label informed you it was sourced from a proper supplier and passed stringent H&S regulations, if you had not known about this scandal would you still be eating burgers, mince, Lasagne and the likes, probably YES as you would not have known the difference.
